13th Annual Caregiver Conference and Resource Fair

The New River Valley Agency on Aging will hold their 13th Annual Caregivers Conference on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Edwards Hall on the New River Community College Campus in Dublin, Virginia.

This is a day full of support, education and community for caregivers. This year’s theme is “The Changing Wave of Caregiving”, and the Keynote Speaker will be Joseph Lugo, from the Beard Center on Aging, at the University of Lynchburg.

There will be over 50 service providers and industry professionals in attendance and ready to share information about planning, personal care, helpful equipment, and other resources available to make the caregiving journey easier. There will also be several classrooms providing vital information for navigating caregiving challenges.

Attendance is free for all family and volunteer caregivers, and just $35 for professional caregivers. Registration is required starting June 10, 2025. Please call 540-980-7720 to register, or for more information.
