Facing Extinction, Processing Eco-Grief: Date with Death Club
March 17, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

Due to the climate crisis, we face not only our own mortality but questions about our collective existence as a species and whether the planet is dying (at least as it is inhabitable by humans). Using concepts from the “work that reconnects,” developed by Joanna Macy, we will bravely explore this emotional terrain.
The Date with Death Club sessions are spiritual and philosophical presentations and discussions on the Third Monday of each month 6:30-8:30pm at Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1301 Gladewood Road, Blacksburg VA 24060.
